Paul C. Morris was born in Ohio in 1924. In Rye his family lived on Rye Beach Avenue. Paul was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1942. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Former Dover Girl Weds In Cleveland Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock in the Gloria Dei Lutheran church on Memphis Road, Cleveland, Miss Signy Ann Hanson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar E. Hanson of Cleveland, fortnerly of Dover, became the bride of Paul Morris of Rye, N. Y. Officiating was the Rev. H. E. Blickensderrer, formerly of Sugarcreek, cousin of the bride’s mother who is the former Dorothy C. Gieser of Dover. For the double ring service the »>rid« attired In a white street- | length dress with white accessor ies and she carried an orchid with a white Testament, gfit of her aunt, Mrs. Marvin Reed. She was given in marriage by her father. Attendants were Mrs. Raymond | Weeks of Sharon, Pa., the bride s cousin, and William Morris of New York, brother of the bridegroom. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home. Mr. Morris attended Cleveland Art • school. After a short wedding trip! the couple will reside at Rye. Mr. and Mrs. Vic Hanson of Dover attended the wedding ceremony.
