Philip Koerner

Philip Koerner was born in New York in 1915 in Rye, NY to Philip and Ella Balls Koerner. He had two sisters Eleanor and Doris and younger brother Donald Koerner.

In Rye his family lived at 204 Purchase Street and were members of the Church of The Resurrection. He married Marjorie Quinn September 28, 1940 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester NY.

Philip enlisted 23 Mar 1943 in U.S. Army and served during World War II. He was honorably discharged 31 Mar 1946

After the war he worked for many years for the United States Postal Service.

KOERNER SR., PHILIP, 83, Cape Coral, died Monday 9/6/1999.
