ROBERT C. ARLINGTON

Robert C. Arlington, 31, of 341 Charles Avenue, Massapequa Park, L. L, a former resident of Rye, died suddenly Saturday. He was the son of Charles and Mary Arlington, 23 Bulkley Manor.

Mr. Arlington served with the Marines in Korea and received the Silver Star.

He was educated at Mt. Saint Michael. Fordham and St. Joseph’s, Rennselaer, Ind. He was a member of the parish of the Church of the Resurrection and of the Holy Name Society of the New York City Police Department. He was a police detective in New York and later became a member of the firm of H. Hentz Co., stock brokers in New York.

He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Bowes, of the home address; his parents, a sister, Miss Mary Anne, and a brother, Charles, all of Rye, and two nephews.
