Edwin Charles Breeding was born on January 6, 1922, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Flora Ann McLean, age 36, and Edwin C. Breeding, age 33.
In Rye his family lived at 505 Post Road. He was an alumnus of Pawling School and Union University

He married Paula Thebaud in March 1952 in Nantucket, Massachusetts. He worked for many years for Fairchild Publications in NYC.
Edwin Charles Breeding died on July 21, 2012, in Old Lyme, Connecticut, at the age of 90.
