Description
John F. Henne Jr. lived in Rye at 39 Mead Place and graduated Rye High School, class of 1963. During the Vietnam War he served in the U.S. Army -11th Armored Cavalry Regiment .
John graduated from New England College in 1967 and immediately enlisted in the Army. He was sent to Vietnam in February 1968 and was discharged in April 1969 as an E5 Chaplain’s Assistant. John served with the 11th Armored Cavalry; Headquarters Troop, Regiment.
He married Robin Peters of Monroe, NH in August 1969. They currently reside in Shelburne, NH. Both are retired.
