John W Ludemann

John Woodrow Ludemann was born on July 26, 1915, in Brooklyn, New York, to Alice M Hoyt, age 27, and John H Ludemann, age 33. He had one sister Elaine and in Rye his family lived at 8 Adelaide St.

John was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1933. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

John married Clyde Inez Walsh in Rye, New York, on October 16, 1938. They had five children during their marriage. In 1940 John and Clyde were living in Glendale CA and John was working for the National Life Insurance Company.

By 1950 John and family were living in Park Forrest, IL and he was working as a shipping superintendent at a can manufacturer. They later lived in Greensboro NC where John was now an industrial engineer with Gilbanlo Co and Gilbanlo International.

The couple retired to Myrtle Beach SC in 1978 and John kept busy working for Golf and Tennis World.

John Woodrow Ludemann died on December 24, 1988, at the age of 73, and was buried in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

At the time of his death he was survived by two sons John Gregory Ludemann of Brimfleld Mass and Steve Ludemann of Green shore three daughters Hildreth Paliafito of Palm Springs Calif. Beth DeForge of Strongsville Ohio and Ann Ludemann of Myrtle Beach 12 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.
