Charles T. Lyon
Charles Thomas Lyon was born on June 30, 1927, in Waterbury, Connecticut, to Ruth A Hotchkiss, age 23, and Charles T Lyon, age 26. He was the eldest of four with a brother Robert and two sisters Cynthia and Elizabeth. In Rye his family lived at 215 Purchase St. Charles enlisted in 1945 while still in high school.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. After the war Charles returned to Rye High School and graduated in 1947. He also would return to the Marines and serve in Korea.

He married Ruth Inez DeWease in Norfolk, Virginia, on July 21, 1951, when he was 24 years old. The couple would have two children. Charles spent his career as a commercial artist
Charles Thomas Lyon died on June 6, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, when he was 58 years old.
