Aldo Victor J. MazzeoVictor Joseph “Aldo” Mazzeo was born on December 16, 1922, in Rye, New York, his father, Anthony, was 34 and his mother, Rose, was 34. In Rye his family lived at 89 Grapal Street and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.
Aldo was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1942.
He enlisted in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He married Josephine Eugenia “Chomie’ Stumpo on May 4, 1949, in Akron, Ohio, when he was 26 years old. They had one child during their marriage.
He died on April 4, 2006, in Gilroy, California, at the age of 83.
