Neil is listed On the City of Rye Honor Roll and we have been unable to determine his branch of service during World War II. His draft card description was 5’11”, 175 lbs, brown eyes, brown hair, light complexion, left handed.
He and Virginia Hughes were divorced in 1953 in Indian River, Florida, after 19 years of marriage. He was 44 years old.
Robert Neill McGrath died on May 15, 1960, in Bronx, New York, at the age of 51, and was buried in Brooklyn, New York.
