Paul C. MorrisPaul Celestine Morris was born on June 17, 1924, in Ohio, his father, Paul, was 31 and his mother, Martha Mangold Morris, was 26.
He had one brother William and a sister Martha. In Rye his family lived at 321 Rye Beach Avenue. Paul was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1942.
He was a freshman at Cornell University in the ROTC when he enlisted. He served in the U.S. Army as a private fist class during World War II.
Paul married Signy Ann Hanson on September 6, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio. They had one child during their marriage.
Paul Celestine Morris died on June 19, 2003, in Nantucket, Massachusetts, at the age of 79, and was buried there.
