Nicholas John Ramirez

Nicholas John Ramirez was born on September 30, 1908, in New York City, son Dr. Joseph L. and Anna Rota Ramirez. He attended La Salle Military Academy, Rye High School and New York University. In Rye his family lived at 7 Adelaide St.

Nicholas enlisted in U.S. Army during World War II. He served five years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and was discharged as a technician 4th grade on October 17, 1945.

He married Helen Patricia Creamer on August 4, 1946, in Peekskill, New York. They had two children during their marriage.

After the war, he was employed as a salesman for Rengesburg Cigar Company, New York. Later he worked as a salesman at the Towne Shop on Purchase Street in Rye.

Nicholas John Ramirez died on July 24, 1966, in his hometown at the age of 57.

At the time of his death, in addition to his wife, he was survived by two sons, Joseph 16 and
Kenneth Ramirez 14, also of the
home address.
