Warren G. Robinson
Warren G. Robinson was born in New York in 1924 to Henry and Evelyn Waters Robinson. He had two sisters Davis and Irene and in Rye his family lived at 33 Purchase Street. Warren was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1943. In high school he was on the track team.
Warren enlisted in August 12,1943 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. His Active Duty Service Number was 32989117 and he was honorably discharged April 9, 1946.
He married Evelyn May Reynolds on August 4, 1962 in Port Chester, NY and they would have one daughter.
After the war he worked as a storekeeper at a grocery store and later on as a cabinet maker. Warren served as a Deacon of the Presbyterian Church in Port Chester. He was also very involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars and served as adjutant for Post 1576 in Port Chester.
In 1989 he and Evelyn moved to Grant Pass, OR.
Warren G. Robinson died December 21, 2000 in Josephine, OR and was buried in Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye, NY.
