Charles G. Miller
Charles G Miller was born on November 28, 1912, in New York City, New York. His father, Charles, was 23 and his mother, Elfrieda, was 23. He had one brother John B and three sisters.

Charles attended the Hotchkiss School and was in the Class of 1935 at Yale University. He is was a member of St. Anthony Hall and the Delta Psi fraternity. Before the war he was working with H. A. Caesar Company, textile finance company of New York..

Charles married Ruth Gladys Lehmer Hardy on Septemer 24, 1938. The ceremony was performed in the Church of St. Mary, Hampton Bays, L. I.. The couple would have two children and in Rye his family lived at 142 Grandview Ave.

Charles Charles enlisted November 24,1942. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Lt. Charles G. Miller, Jr., U. S. N. R., Mrs. Miller and their little girl Cathy are back from a stay with Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Hardy at Wainscott, L. I. Lt. Miller has completely recovered from battle injuries and is reporting at Quanset to teach gunnery.

Charles was honorably discharged January 6,1945. After the war he continued with his banking career and was a member of the Manursing Island Club and Apawamis Club. The family moved to Greenwich CT in the 1960's

Charles G Miller died on September 6, 1996, in Greenwich, Connecticut, at the age of 83, and was buried in New Britain, Connecticut.
