Paul Lawrence was born March 14,1921 in Atlanta Georgia to Paul and Gertrude Fluellen Lawrence. In Rye his family lived at 142 Maple Avenue and they were members of the Presbyterian Church.

Paul was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1940. In school he ran track and was a Westchester County sprinter champion.

Before the war Paul was working as a chauffer in New Rochelle. He enlisted and served during World War II in a branch of service yet determined. He listed on the WWII Honor Roll at Rye City Hall.

Paul Lawrence died June 6, 2001 in Newburgh NY.
