Pedro E. Savellano
Pedro E. Savellano was born July 27, 1907 in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He arrived in the US July 16, 1928 and came to Rye as a young man. He was employed by the CCA Bienfait family on Dogwood Lane as a houseworker.
Pedro enlisted July 1942 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. His service number was 32355686. He applied to be a citizen March 19, 1943 while in service as a private serving at Camp Beale, CA
After his honorable discharge he returned home to Rye and would live in Westchester and Rockland Counties. As per a 1967 article from the White Plains Dispatch, he was an avid gardener specializing in vegetables.
Pedro E. Savellano died July 1984 in Nanuet NY.
