Daniel A. Sinto

Daniel A. Sinto was born in Rye, New York, May 28, 1904 to Michael and Angelina Rich Sinto. He attended Rye schools and in Rye his family lived at 204 North Street.

Daniel enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

After his discharge, he married Beatrice Packer October 14, 1945 The ceremony took place Sunday in the rectory of the Church of the Resurrection, Rye, with the Rev. James F.

Tully officiating. They had one child and the family lived at 154 Maple Ave and Daniel was working 40 hours a week as a painter.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Painters, Decorators. Paperhangers of America, Port Chester. He and his wife would later retire to Vestal, NY where he was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

Daniel A. Sinto, 74, of 200 Rano Blvd., Vestal, was dead on arrival Saturday afternoon at Wilson Memorial Hospital.

At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice P. Sinto, Vestal; one son, Daniel Sinto, Vestal; three brothers, John Sinto, Rye; Joseph Sinto, Port Chester; Michael Sinto, Lake George, one sister, Mrs. Lucy Brad-way, Schenectady; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial was be offered. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, Conn.
